Zach Bryan always ends up in the headlines, and this time it’s because fans of his show – or at least one fan – didn’t know how to act.

Video from Bryan’s weekend show at the Tacoma Dome in Washington shows him on stage when something is thrown in his direction and hits a guitarist playing next to him. Bryan immediately stopped playing, walked over to a microphone and pointed to the crowd in the direction from which the object was thrown.

“Who threw that?” he said, holding up the object. “Who was it?” Does anyone know? Who was it?

“You don’t throw curse words at concerts, do you?” he added as fans cheered.

Bryan then walked away before turning around, returning to the microphone and saying, “And if you know who threw it, then get them out of here if we ever find out who it was.”

After the few tense moments, he finally did.

Bryan, of course, is in the middle of an ugly breakup with Barstool Sports personality Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. He didn’t say much publicly after the breakup, but she did, accusing him of abuse. And just last week, Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy went after Bryan, making wild accusations about his actions at UFC 309.

“I know I said I was tired of talking about that pathetic little man Zach Bryan,” Portnoy said in a video shared on social media last week. “Time to move on, and it’s a shame it all happened, but just walk around, talk and listen to this story.

“Last Saturday night, Brianna Chickenfry attended the UFC New York event,” he continued. “Her first UFC event. She advertises that she is leaving. She is everywhere. Everyone knows she’s leaving. During the fights, this guy, David Onama, wins the fights, stands in the middle of the ring and shouts out to Zach Bryan. He says, “You know, I’m so happy.” Zach Bryan, this is for him. I can’t wait to see his show in a few weeks.’”

Portnoy then showed the clip of Onama shouting to Bryan after the fight.

“This really sucks for Bri,” he said. “She was there.”

But then Portnoy showed the clip of Onama on SiriusXM’s Fight Night show and said he didn’t even know who Bryan was.

“It was so weird that the podcaster was like, ‘What’s wrong with Zach Bryan?’ Are you a big Zach Bryan guy?’”

“(Onama) was like, ‘I don’t even know who Zach Bryan is.’ “His manager, his team reached out to my team and asked for a shoutout,” Portnoy said.

“This little little psychopath is so pathetic and so lost that they had to beg the UFC people for a salute just to rub it in Brianna’s face… like Brianna lets out an (expletive). We know you’re popular Zach, you don’t have to bribe people to say your name, you pathetic little man.

“Listen, you may like his music,” Portnoy added. “He has good music. But this guy is the worst.”

Following the post, Onama took to social media to further explain his perspective.

“Hey guys, I feel like this is being blown out of proportion,” he said. “A promoter offered me free tickets to one of Zach Bryan’s concerts if I alerted myself to his upcoming stadium shows. I did it because my teammates love Zach and Zach always took care of them when he played in Denver. Zach hasn’t contacted me at all about his concerns. I just supported someone who always supported my team.”
