An internet personality and transgender Chris Chan caused a stir on social media again when she hinted at a possible pregnancy during a livestream.
During a recent livestream recorded by internet forum Kiwi Farms, Chand, 42, who also goes by that name, said Christine Weston Chandler was asked, “When are you going to announce the child you are having?”
“If the child, if the child actually comes into play in the summer/sometime at that point, or I’ll keep you all in the dark and let you know until the child is born,” Chandler replied.
This unexpected announcement sparked considerable debate among supporters and critics alike, questioning its validity, Daily Mail reported.
Online responses ranged from cautious observation to genuine concern. Some people expressed concern about Chan’s ability to care for a child, citing previous legal troubles, including a 2021 arrest and a 2014 incident that involved a confrontation with a GameStop employee.
In August 2021, authorities arrested Chan at a Virginia residence on allegations of an inappropriate relationship with her 82-year-old mother, Barbara, and she faced a possible 10-year prison sentence. The charges were subsequently dismissed in August 2023 after Chan’s legal representatives presented evidence of autism.
According to the Daily Mail, there was speculation about Chan’s alleged relationship with someone named Flutter, whom Chan supposedly met at the Central Virginia Regional Jail.
Previously recorded police footage from the 2021 arrest showed Chan’s unusual behavior, including claims of an interdimensional husband. The arrest followed the leak of a controversial audio recording alleging inappropriate relationships with her mother, although its authenticity has not been confirmed.
The recording allegedly contained disturbing details about interactions with her mother, who reportedly suffers from dementia. Chan reportedly claimed divine approval for these acts, although these claims remain unsubstantiated.
