Washington State will look to continue its hot start to its young season tonight when it takes on Fresno State in the first round of the Acrisure Holiday Invitational. Tipoff is scheduled for 9 p.m. and will follow the game between SMU and Cal Baptist.

The Cougs have enjoyed success this season and are currently 5-1, with their only loss coming to Iowa two weeks ago. They have scored 90 or more points in 4 of their 6 games so far this season and are led by Nate Calmese and Cedric Coward, who are each averaging over 17 points per game this season.

Fresno State is currently 3-2 and is coming off a 72-69 win over Long Beach State. They are led by Amar Augillard, who has collected 92 points this season. He has scored 20 or more points in 3 of their games and is shooting .412 from the field.

The Cougs will face either SMU or Cal Baptist on Wednesday, with the two winners facing off at 9 a.m. while the other two face off at 6:30 a.m. All 4 games will be televised on TruTV. The Cougs will have the rest of the holiday week off and return to action next Monday against Nevada.
