Due to the shorter shopping season, Target has been holding pre-Black Friday sales events throughout November. But now it’s time for the main event.

The Minneapolis-headquartered retailer already offers deals online and in nearly 2,000 stores. But there’s another big slew of sales on Black Friday – a total of up to 50% off thousands of items, including casual clothing, tech, video games, small appliances, luggage and holiday decorations.

Members of Target Circle, the retailer’s free loyalty program, can find all Black Friday deals — and some exclusive sales — in the Target app.

When is Black Friday 2024?

Black Friday occurs the day after Thanksgiving, which this year is Thursday, November 28th, meaning the shopping holiday falls on Friday, November 29th.

When does Target’s Black Friday sale start?

Target launched its Black Friday week deals on Sunday, November 24th. However, more specific offers and discounts for Black Friday weekend are available from Thursday to Saturday.

When is Target open on Black Friday?

On Black Friday, November 29, stores will open at 6 a.m. local time and close at regular hours (check local hours). Target stores will be closed on Thanksgiving.

Crowds of Swifties could flock to shoppers on Black Friday, as that’s also the day Target begins selling new versions of “Taylor Swift – The Eras Tour Book” and “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology” on CD and vinyl at four acoustic bonus songs (the vinyl album also includes a poster of Swift).
