Kai Cenat’s marathon streams of games like Elden Ring and Sekiro have garnered a lot of attention on Twitch, but he may be getting more than he can handle with a claim about one of the most notorious grind-heavy MMOs in existence.

During Kai’s current Mafiaathon 2 stream, suggestions kept popping up for games that chatters felt the streamer couldn’t complete, and one game that seemed to keep popping up was Old School RuneScape. Now, if you literally know anything about OSRS, then you’re probably already familiar with the game’s infamous struggles to max out every skill, with players typically taking years to max out their account – if they ever manage to do so.

Seemingly unfazed by the daunting challenge, Kai explains in a clip posted on Twitter by @JakeSucky: “My heart is too hard. RuneScape? I could beat any game I put my mind to.” I certainly don’t want to call Mr. Cenat a liar, but I would bet he probably doesn’t fully realize how disheartening this is.

OSRS is not a game that can be “completed” per se, but for many players achieving a maximum cape by reaching level 99 in all skills is often seen as the end goal. According to speedrun.com, Heboxjonge is the fastest person to ever achieve this feat. He received his maximum cape after a whopping 32 days, 3 hours and 3 minutes of playtime, which is significantly longer than the approximate 167 hours it took Kai Cenat to defeat Elden Ring.

While Kai could certainly speed things up a bit by spending the virtual money on skills like fletching, prayer, or construction, the rigorous, impeccable execution required for maximum efficiency would almost certainly slow him down in other areas, which is what means that it will likely take him far more than 32 days to complete the challenge.

Some fans have suggested alternatives to the Max Cloak, such as acquiring a Fire Cloak or a Quest Cloak, both of which would be much easier to complete than a Max Cloak. However, at the moment it doesn’t seem like the Kai Cenat RuneScape stream will be happening any time soon.

If OSRS work is too daunting for you, then you have come to the right place List of the best MMORPGs has many alternatives to choose from.
