UNC men’s basketball at the 2024 Maui Invitational: How to watch, cord cutting options and kickoff times

The Tar Heels return to the Maui Invitational this week at the Lahaina Civic Center in Hawaii. Carolina has participated in the tournament eight times and won it four times, most recently in the 2016-17 season.

If you’re not traveling to the island with the team, you can also follow along at home:

Those who would like to listen to the radio can do so on 97.9 FM and 1360 AM or stream the radio show at Chapelboro.com.

97.9 Hill’s Radio broadcast of Tuesday’s semifinal game against Auburn begins at 10 p.m. Eastern time with the Tar Heel Sports Network’s pregame coverage until tipoff. They will also provide post-game coverage for approximately an hour after the game ends.

For broadcasts of preseason, regular season and ACC Tournament games, you can access the stream (computer, tablet or phone) via Chapelboro.com, TuneIN or most streaming apps, but you must be within 75 miles of Chapel Hill and have your location services Your device is turned on. If you live more than 75 miles outside of Chapel Hill, you can access the Tar Heel Sports Network game broadcast stream on the Varsity Network.

TV program

Televised coverage of Tuesday’s game begins with the announcement at 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The game will be broadcast on ESPN. As of today, Spectrum, AT&T, Dish Network, Xfinity and DirecTV all carry ESPN.

What if I don’t have cable?

A live stream will be available on the ESPN app or on ESPN.com. You must enter TV provider information to access this stream.

Additionally, several cord-cutting options offer ESPN.

YouTube TV costs $73 per month and offers the entire ESPN family of channels.

Hulu TV starts at $82/month and includes ESPN, but not MLB Network, NBA TV, or NFL Red Zone.

Sling TV is the cheapest at $40/month for the Orange package. Be sure to avoid Sling Blue as this package does not include ESPN.
