Ben Affleck bonds with ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Thanksgiving while Jennifer Lopez goes through divorce: ‘He’s very happy’ “You could hear the bang, bang, bang,” witnesses recall of their experiences during the Park Plaza Mall shooting

For the second year in a row, the Green Bay Packers will play on Thanksgiving, only this time they will dress up at night and host the game on frozen Lambeau Field. As the players prepare for their second straight Thanksgiving match, some of them are setting their sights on the post-game festivities.

A fun thing the networks do to the winning team’s MVPs is give them turkey legs to eat on air. Some Packers got to experience that a year ago when they went into Detroit’s home and stunned the newly rejuvenated Lions with a 29-22 win in the Motor City.

Now, some Packers fans may remember that quarterback Jordan Love was snubbed and didn’t get to enjoy a turkey leg like the game’s stars were promised. Luckily, Love’s tight end Tucker Kraft has his quarterback’s back and vows to make sure the Packers’ signal-caller finally gets his turkey leg in 2024.

What happened last year?

“I’m pretty sure (FOX broadcaster) Greg (Olsen) actually set him up, right?” Kraft said. “He started eating it before we had the chance. We’ll make sure Jordan gets it this year. We will make sure of that.”

As Kraft noted, Greg Olsen was the one accused of this crime against love. The longtime NFL tight end turned FOX broadcaster was seen sticking his hand into a turducken during the game as the crew was supposed to demonstrate the food they would enjoy after the game. Glad you’re here, Greg.

The good news is that the Packers have a chance at repeating their quarterback here. They host the suddenly red-hot Miami Dolphins, who are fighting for their playoff life with a 5-6 record, but fortunately the Dolphins aren’t used to playing in cold weather, so let’s hope the weather in Green Bay cooperates with them from their game.

If Love gets a chance to enjoy a turkey leg after a victory on Thanksgiving that he didn’t have a year ago, it could count as the redemption story we all needed. And just in time for the holidays!
