The Philadelphia 76ers are off to a miserable start to the 2024/25 season. With a 3-13 start to the season, they have dealt with a slew of injuries and plenty of drama as everything that could go wrong has gone wrong.

Expect the Sixers to figure this out eventually and go on a long winning streak, but the slow start means the draft still has some attention for now. Philadelphia will only keep its draft pick if it finishes in the top six. Right now, the Sixers have the No. 2 pick in the draft.

A mock draft prepared by SB Nation has the Sixers selecting Rutgers guard Dylan Harper:

Harper is a jumbo guard who combines scoring power and defensive advantages at the point of attack. At 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, Harper lacks the nuclear punch that typically defines top-notch guard prospects, but he makes up for it with his versatile skill set and relentless approach to receiving balls. Harper is a developing shooter both off the dribble and in spot-ups who can create space with back and side steps. As a driver, he is skilled and can usually use his large frame to create scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. His vision as a playmaker is more solid than spectacular, but he should score enough goals to compensate for that. Defensively, Harper can also stop smaller defenders on the perimeter, where he uses his length to put pressure on the ball and force turnovers. He is already extremely capable for an 18-year-old and still has a lot of potential in his shooting development.
