Taylor Swift teased that she was already looking forward to her next chapter. In The Eras tour bookwhich was released exclusively at Target on Friday, November 29th, she wrote a note about the record-breaking tour and hinted that a different era was ahead.

“Until the next era,” Taylor, 34, wrote at the end of the note found at the back of the book. Although the pop star has yet to release two newly recorded albums – Call And Taylor Swift – Fans are already looking forward to the next new thing she has in store.

“Until the next era????????? GIRL,” one person wrote on distant promise.”

In the long note on the back cover, Taylor reflected on how she came up with the idea for the Eras tour following the release of her album in 2022 midnight. “I told (my team) that I wanted to fully engage with each era musically, stylistically and aesthetically,” Taylor explained. “They should feel like time capsules. If we do this right, I said, we can celebrate and honor both new fans and fans who have been here since day one.”

What is your favorite Taylor’s Version album?

Taylor pointed out everything she’s done in the six years since Call Tour, including re-recording her first six albums, which, she said, “made her fall in love with her past again.” “When I looked back at this previous work, I wanted to honor it and appreciate what the fans have done for me with it Taylor’s version Albums,” she continued. “And so the new albums and my new recordings presented me with the dilemma: HOW on earth are we going to play all this music live?”

She added that her goal on the Eras tour was to “make every fan leave the show knowing that I gave them absolutely everything I had.” However, she had to “physically and mentally “harder” than ever before and “more disciplined about their health, fitness and stamina” to put on the three-hour and 15-minute show every night.

After pointing out that she and her crew performed the show in all sorts of brutal weather conditions—scorching heat, rain, and freezing cold—Taylor explained why it was all worth it. “We do it because we love having the rare opportunity to create happiness and amaze on this stage,” she concluded. “We do this because we know that it takes time, effort, money and energy to plan to go to a concert. We do it because every friendship bracelet exchanged has the potential to become a new friend, and you never know what dreams can arise if we manage to paint a dreamscape in every city we visit. We do it because people need an escape from the brutality of life, and it is the honor of a lifetime to give them that, even if just for one night. And even though we’re all on our own in this big, scary life, somehow it doesn’t feel like it when we’re singing the same words as 80,000 other people with glittery face paint. We do it because life comes in waves, in phases, in brilliant tides of magical moments, and all of these things come together to create…epochs.”

The Eras tour began in March 2023 and spanned five continents with a total of 152 tour dates. Taylor will conclude the tour with three shows in Vancouver, Canada on December 6th, 7th and 8th.
