Isiah Pacheco hasn’t seen the field for the Kansas City Chiefs since Week 2, with a broken fibula that kept him out until the Black Friday game in Week 13.

He’s not on injured status for the game against the Las Vegas Raiders, but given the presence of Kareem Hunt – who has filled in really well during Pacheco’s absence – you might be wondering: Should you play him in fantasy football this week? ?

My take is this: I bet the Chiefs are split between Hunt and Pacheco, and with the latter coming back from such a serious injury, he may not get much work as the franchise re-signs him. The Raiders aren’t great against the run, and if the Chiefs are big, they’re going to run a lot.

But I think they’ll get Pacheco back in the game in time for the postseason, so don’t expect RB2 numbers from him right away. I would lean towards benching him unless you are desperate at the position or FLEX.
