Ryan Garcia is ready to get in the ring with Jake Paul.

Garcia is expected to return to the professional ring in 2025 after his one-year suspension following his fight with Devin Haney expires in April.

“King Ryan” originally won the fight against Haney on points, but it was later discovered that he had failed two drug tests during fight week. The result was later changed to a no contest and he was suspended by the New York State Athletic Commission.

He is aiming for a big fight upon his return, with a showdown against Paul, which he has now set his sights on following Paul’s recent controversial win over Mike Tyson.

Garcia said in the lead-up to the fight that he would try to defend Tyson’s honor and he has now, speaking to the Ariel Helwani Show, named the only weight condition that must be met if he wants to fight the YouTuber boxer.

“185 (the weight for the fight). I’m 165, 170 now. I’d have to eat a lot, but I would do it.

“I really think they really think I’m probably too small, but the skills pay the bill.” You see Floyd when he fought Logan, Logan was a lot bigger than me. I think I can do the same. It would be huge.”

Garcia then revealed what he thought the outcome of the fight would be.

“Everywhere I go people ask me to fight Jake Paul. I have to give the people what they want. If Jake fights the way he fought Mike, I really think I would take him out within four or five rounds.”

As the list of potential next opponents for Paul continues to grow, former middleweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. claimed he has been approached about a fight against “The Problem Child.”
