LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A driver is on the run Monday evening after a suspected roadside shooting that closed Las Vegas Boulevard.

According to police, a man was shot in the neck and is now dead. Based on their preliminary investigation, police believe the victim walked toward the suspect’s vehicle before he was shot.

The shooter left the area in a vehicle identified by police as a silver Subaru WRX. He is described as a “fair-skinned, thin man who wore his hat backwards.”

Las Vegas Boulevard is closed from Sands Avenue to Sirens Cove Drive, police said.
