Dozens of Green Bay Packers players and staff will participate in the “My Cause My Cleats” initiative this week when the team takes on the Miami Dolphins on Thanksgiving evening.

The NFL initiative encourages players across the league to wear custom cleats on game day to raise awareness for their hand-picked causes and show their support for numerous nonprofit organizations across the country.

Participating players include:

At the end of the campaign, participants can raise money for their cause by auctioning off their cleats at NFL Auction. Fans are invited to bid on the game-worn boots. All funds raised will be donated to each player’s chosen charity.

To bring their vision to life, players collaborated with cleat makers, designers and local artists to create their custom cleats that express their chosen purpose.

Thursday’s game will also welcome violinist Lindsey Stirling to Lambeau Field at halftime for a special Thanksgiving performance. The multi-award-winning, viral top violinist, dancer and aerialist is known for her genre-bending virtuosity on the electronic violin. Stirling delights audiences with her captivating blend of pop, classical, hip-hop and electronica, as well as her exceptional talent as a dancer and meticulous attention to impactful, thematic album and video artwork.
