Actor Owen Wilson shouted Urban Meyer during Monday night Manningcast of the game between the Ravens and Chargers. On the show with brothers Peyton And Eli ManningWilson showed a clip of himself attending a celebrity flag football game with Meyer as coach.

However, as the two interacted on the sideline, Meyer did not appear to recognize Wilson. You can watch it below.

“Who are you?” Meyer asked Wilson.

“Owen,” the actor replied.

“How do I know you?”

“I’m on your team.”

Wilson was asked if he believes Meyer knows who he is now, to which he responded that he still doesn’t believe that. The coach has since retired from football and is now an analyst for FOX Sports.

Former Florida And Ohio State trainer Urban Meyer has had a lot to do with high-class football. And the Gators may be inconsistent right now, but Meyer just saw the team play some quality football in a win LSU.

That led him to praise the Gators coach Billy Napier While he also weighs in on the former Florida rival, he still refuses to call him by name.

“I’ll tell you something, I’m a fan of Coach Napier and here’s why,” Urban Meyer continued The triple option Podcast. “I don’t know him, I’ve met him once or twice. They obviously struggled a lot, but the one thing they didn’t do like the team in Tallahassee was give up. They kept fighting.”

As barbs go, this is a pretty brutal one from Meyer.

State of FloridaOf course, he’s struggled to get off to a 1-9 start this season after going 13-0 and winning an ACC title before bowl season last year. Florida has had its own problems since then, sitting at just 5-5 with two games left.

Still, Urban Meyer likes what he’s seeing from the Gators right now.

“I hear comments from their outstanding quarterback DJ Lagway“said Meyer. “I see things, I hear things obviously and I still know a lot of people down there. The swamp was electric. I find Ole Miss I’m running into a hornet’s nest here.”
