Nick Cannon has revealed his diagnosis of narcissistic personality disorder, saying he still doesn’t fully understand the condition.

The Masked singer The 44-year-old host revealed earlier this month that he suffers from the disorder, which, according to the Mayo Clinic, gives people an “inappropriately high sense of self-importance.” They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them, the clinic’s definition says. Those affected also find it difficult to care about the feelings of others.

“I still don’t fully understand it, but I’ve always wanted to get tested for it. I did a series of tests,” Cannon said People Magazine on Wednesday.

“I was diagnosed with ADHD. It was dyslexia when I was a kid, but knowing that I was just a neurodivergent person, I always knew it,” he added.

Cannon, who has 12 children with six wives, spoke candidly while serving meals at the Los Angeles Mission’s Thanksgiving celebration.

“I feel like there are so many labels out there, but it’s like you can embrace it and say, ‘Look, I’m healing.’ I need help. Show me.’ I’m just so supportive of mental health and therapy. “Being able to say I’m a role model for others but also being healing during the self-process also works,” he said.

He revealed his diagnosis on a November 8 episode of his Counsel Culture podcast.
