Ben Affleck bonds with ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Thanksgiving while Jennifer Lopez goes through divorce: ‘He’s very happy’ “You could hear the bang, bang, bang,” witnesses recall of their experiences during the Park Plaza Mall shooting

Nick Cannon shares what he has planned for this Thanksgiving.

The Wild ‘n Out star, 44, spoke exclusively to PEOPLE at the LA Mission Thanksgiving charity event in downtown LA on Wednesday, November 27, and shared insight into celebrating the holiday with his 11 children.

Cannon is the proud father of 13-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with his ex-wife Mariah Carey; sons Golden Sagon, 7, and Rise Messiah Cannon, 2, and daughter Powerful Queen, 3, with Brittany Bell; 3-year-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, 2, with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary Love, 2, with Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx Ice Cole, 2, with LaNisha Cole.

Cannon is a father of two children with Alyssa Scott – son Zen, who died in December 2021 at five months old after being diagnosed with brain cancer, and daughter Halo Marie Cannon, born December 14, 2022.

“It’s very complicated. “I’m a busy man on Thanksgiving,” he tells PEOPLE, noting that he has “a lot of dinners” that he “has to go to.”

“I’ll be full at the end of the day, but everyone specializes in certain things,” he reveals, adding: “Some people got good sweet potato pie, others got amazing roast turkey.”

“So I know every house has to have the things that I really like.” The Masked Singer Host says.

Cannon was joined at the charity event by several other celebrity volunteers, including Joe Manganiello and Tom Sandoval, to serve over 4,000 meals completely free of charge, provide over 2,000 items of clothing, and give free haircuts, manicures and pedicures to those in need.

Cannon tells PEOPLE that he continues to volunteer with the organization because his grandmother taught him, “To whom much is given, much is required.”

“The best thing about any vacation is that you can be of help. And that’s what I think life is really about,” he tells PEOPLE. “If you can find more joy in serving and doing something for others, then I think you reach the pinnacle of what life is all about.”
