Forget the turkey, Wednesday Addams serves her brother’s head as the main dish for the holiday.

At the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City this year, Netflix will debut a float featuring Addams, who may be so festive that she serves her brother Pugsley’s head on a platter with Thing by her side. Additionally, Wednesday will feature an army of doppelgangers and a special performance of indie-pop singer Bishop Briggs’ “Paint it Black.”

The celebrity-studded line-up for the parade is headlined by Alison Brie, Idina Menzel and T-Pain. Special appearances will include Jimmy Fallon & The Roots, Kylie Cantrall, Lea Salonga, Jonathan Bennett, Liza Colón-Zayas, Tom Kenny, Ginna Claire Mason and members of the New York Liberty with mascot Ellie the Elephant.

The Radio City Rockettes will perform alongside cast members from Broadway shows Death suits her, Hell’s Kitchen And The outsiders – which won the 2024 Tony for Best Musical. Menzel will sing “Great Escape” from the new Broadway musical redwood.

This year there will also be new character balloons for Minnie Mouse, Extraordinary Noorah & The Elf on the Shelf, Goku, Spider-Man and more.

The Addams float is a new addition this year, but it serves to get fans excited as they wait for the second season of the hit Netflix series starring Jenna Ortega. Earlier this month, Lady Gaga was cast in the second season of the show.

NBC’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air live from 8:30 a.m. ET to 12:00 p.m. ET. The show will be streamed on Peacock and there will be an encore presentation on the main channel in the afternoon.
