Microsoft 365, Outlook and Microsoft Teams users were in for a rude awakening at the beginning of the week. These services are all at the top of the charts at DownDetector. The Company reports service outages by collecting user reports. The outages began around 8 a.m. ET today but peaked around midday.

Some reports of problems occurred earlier in the day around 4 a.m. ET, which is around the time Microsoft began investigating the issue, but as of around 8 a.m. ET, the issues appear to have caused more problems. There’s a good chance the increase in outage reports is related to people logging in for work at the start of the week.
