The Dallas Mavericks (9-8) play the Atlanta Hawks (7-10) on Monday night in the final game of a three-game road trip. The Mavericks fell to the Miami Heat in overtime on Sunday night after a tough back-and-forth game that saw Dallas lose the lead late on a defensive error. Atlanta returns home after a four-game road trip that featured contests in the final two games. Here are the key details you need to know:

The injury report for the Mavericks is getting longer. With Luka Doncic and Dante Exum already out, Klay Thompson has entered the report with a questionable designation due to a plantar fascia problem. Kyrie Irving appeared in the report as questionable with an illness and Quentin Grimes is also listed as questionable with an illness. Cody Zeller is the only notable Hawk in this game.

As we read this mounting injury report, we get further support for our anger over the Mavericks’ lost game yesterday. They needed that as insurance because winning for the second night in a row is extremely difficult! Oh what do we know, I think it’s too picky to question the Mavericks’ crappy second quarter lineups.
