Lindsay Arnold cries for sister Rylee during a surprise DWTS appearance

Former Dancing with the stars professional Lindsay Arnold made a surprise appearance on the Season 33 finale on Tuesday, November 26th.

The fans were shocked Rylee Arnold And Stephen Nedoroscik‘s freestyle dance as they ran to the skybox and Lindsay, 30, stood at the top of the stairs. She hugged 19-year-old Rylee with tears in her eyes for a sweet sister moment.

Lindsay continued to cry as she stood behind Rylee and Stephen, 26, as they received their grades. The pair received 30 out of 30 for their freestyle to Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida.” As the judges – Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough And Bruno Tonioli – held up their “10” paddles, with Lindsay in the background jumping up and down and cheering on her sister.

Tuesdays DWTS The finale was a major milestone for Rylee as it was the first time she made it to the final round since her debut on the series last year.

Lindsay Arnold isn’t attending the Dancing With the Stars ballroom this season, but she was there to see some of sister Rylee Arnold’s biggest moments. Lindsay, 30, attended the live taping of the “Halloween Nightmares” episode on Tuesday, Oct. 29, with her daughter Sage, 3, joking on TikTok that the toddler would probably be “(…).”

Before the live show, Lindsay shared a sweet tribute to her sister.

“IT’S TIME!!!!!!! Please everyone take a minute to vote for my little sister @ryleearnold1 so she and @stephen_nedoroscik can take home the mirror ball trophy tonight on @dancingwiththestars!!!!” She has a number of Instagram Add captions to photos. “Text STEPHEN to 21523 up to 10 times.”

Lindsay, for her part, starred on the show as a professional dancer for six seasons before announcing in August 2023 that she would be taking a step back and focusing on her family life. (She has two children, three-year-old daughter Sage and 17-month-old daughter June, with her husband Sam Cusick.)

The dancer confirmed in September that she would not be returning for season 33, but revealed this exclusively Us weekly that she didn’t rule out a cameo appearance – which took place on Tuesday evening.

“I would love to (show up),” Lindsay said earlier this year. “Something like that would be perfect for me right now. So (I) have definitely already expressed that if it ever makes sense or needs to happen or whatever, I would like to be a part of it.”

She said it was “really fun” to cheer on Sister Rylee as she continues to appear on the show. “I’ll be backstage with Sage cheering everyone on,” Lindsay added.
