Light showers are expected early Wednesday, followed by mostly cloudy and dry weather for the rest of the day, the National Weather Service said.

Most locations are expected to receive less than 0.10 inches of rain, NBC 7 meteorologist Greg Bledsoe said.

Thanksgiving looks dry with a mix of clouds and sunshine. If you get up early for one of the turkey trots, expect morning temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. By the afternoon, our daily highs will reach comfortable temperatures in the 60s along the coast and the mid-70s inland, Bledsoe said.

A warming trend will continue into the weekend, with temperatures reaching 80 degrees inland, Bledsoe said.

Wednesday temperatures:

  • Coast: Mostly cloudy, highs in the mid 60s
  • Valleys: Partly sunny, upper 60s
  • Mountains: Partly sunny, upper 50s
  • Desert: Mostly sunny – low to mid 70s
