Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson was reportedly arrested Monday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence, TMZ Sports reported.

The 30-year-old was allegedly stopped, likely by California Highway Patrol officers, on a Los Angeles freeway at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour, leading to a traffic stop.

“Just after 5 a.m., an officer observed Robinson’s white Dodge sedan speeding at an alarming speed,” TMZ Sports explained. “Officers conducted a traffic stop and observed Robinson exhibiting signs of impairment, which raised suspicion that he was under the influence of alcohol.”

The sports outlet added that Robinson was arrested and transported to the station after refusing to take a sobriety test.

The wide receiver reportedly spoke to officials at the scene about whether he was a Rams player.

To date, neither Robinson nor the LA Rams organization have publicly commented on the arrest.

According to TMZ Sports, Robinson was taken to court and released to a responsible party.
