Ben Affleck bonds with ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Thanksgiving while Jennifer Lopez goes through divorce: ‘He’s very happy’ “You could hear the bang, bang, bang,” witnesses recall of their experiences during the Park Plaza Mall shooting

1. The NFL Network Good morning football This season saw major changes as the show moved from New York to Los Angeles.

This caused GMFB Losing Jason McCourty as a cast member, while Jamie Erdahl, Kyle Brandt and Peter Schrager remained on the series. The latter two remain in New York and perform remotely most of the time.

Brandt appeared this week on SI Media with Jimmy Traina and discussed the changes GMFB and whether he was happy with doing the show in the new format this season.

“Very happy,” said Brandt. “I was out there (in Los Angeles) a lot when the show started. I go out with everyone every now and then so I can stay until Tuesday doing angry runs and running around the studio and pretending to break things.”

Brandt explained that while the show currently features a hybrid setup, it worked out perfectly for him thanks to one simple thing.

“I’m still sitting at the table with Peter, playing around and throwing in innuendos that we shouldn’t sneak in and stuff like that,” Brandt said. “And then we have this great group of people in Los Angeles that we talk to remotely.

“If you had brought me in from afar in 2016, 2017 or 2018, I would have said: What the hell is that? But in 2024 we are now four years into remote living. If you turn on an ESPN show, I bet you’ll find one where someone isn’t remote. I watched (Michael) Wilbon and (Tony) Kornheiser travel from afar for many years. It wouldn’t have made sense back then. Well, that’s how we are. I actually have the luxury of being in the same room as Peter because it could be four different rooms. I still get to sit next to Peter and we can still joke around. That’s all I come to work to do.”

Brandt hilariously pointed out a downside to the remote setup.

“The only glitches you have are that even though we humans have practiced it all four years, the “car crash” still happens where everyone starts talking at once. It’s still the worst. It’s like you’re standing in a narrow hallway with someone and you don’t know whether to go right or left, and then you do this 15-second dance routine. Imagine doing that on live TV but at the same time trying to talk about Dan Campbell and having a producer in your ear saying, “No, no, Kyle’s going.” Kyle’s going. Kyle’s going. You said ‘Kyle shouldn’t go?’ And then we just talk. We experienced very little of that, but it is full of nails on the board, torture, waterboarding. It makes me so angry.”

During the podcast, Brandt also discussed how he puts together his segments for CBS’ NFL Today, how he writes his own scripts and how this standout segment came about.

3. “It is Spirit? Is that Spirit? Is that Spirit?”

That was an incredulous Charles Barkley last night Within the NBA became a popular Patrick Swayze-Demi Moore film with Charles, Ernie Johnson, Shaq and Jalen Rose (replacing Kenny Smith) making pottery.

4. Aaron Rodgers stopped by the Pat McAfee show on Tuesday and did his usual bashing of the media after a recent report claimed that Rodgers doesn’t want to play for the Jets next season.

Just a quick review as Rodgers said the media never gets it right when it comes to him. The media reported that tensions arose between him and the Packers while he played in Green Bay. That was true. The media reported that he would move to the Jets after parting ways with the Packers. That was true. The media reported that Rodgers wanted to be reunited with Davante Adams. The Jets eventually traded for Adams.

When it comes to football matters, the media seems to have gotten more right than wrong with Rodgers.
