Louisville’s hardcore metallic insurgents Knocked Loose lead truly crazy lives. Knocked Loose have been a big band in the world of heavy music since pre-pandemic days and are only getting bigger, even as their music becomes more intense and aggressive. At the moment they are nominated for a Grammy for the first time and next year they are headlining Outbreak Fest in Manchester. Last night they made their television debut and they really did something awesome to count.

Knocked Loose were on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. That alone is crazy. The band made it even crazier. They played outside on the show’s festival stage, which meant people could mosh to them. They played in the pouring rain. They played with fire pots that exploded in the big moments. They weren’t just a hardcore band on TV; They were a hardcore band that got the chance to actually be on TV.

On the right side Kimmel The show saw metal-affiliated internet cult star Poppy take the stage with Knocked Loose and they belt out their bloodthirsty, noxious, Grammy-nominated collaboration “Suffocate.” When it rained and the fire started, it looked and sounded incredibly dramatic. Check it out below.

While they were out with it Kimmel On the festival stage, Knocked Loose played a 16-minute, five-song set, and people stuck around despite the rain. The Kimmel People recorded this, but the full video isn’t online yet. However, people in the crowd were there to document it, so you can check out fan footage of the whole thing below.
