Jodie Turner-Smith reports on her trip with her and Joshua Jackson’s daughter

Jodie Turner Smith didn’t want to wait for her daughter to see it Evil.

With the film adaptation captivating fans in the cinemas, the Queen & Slim Star revealed that she recently met up with her ex Joshua Jackson’S 4 year old daughter Juno to see that Wizard of Oz Prequel on Broadway.

“Listen, I know she’s a little young,” Jodie continued The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon November 26: “But I just felt like it Evil is now in the process of meeting the zeitgeist in a completely different way Cynthia Erivo undoubtedly killed this performance. And I just thought, ‘I just need her to show her the play before the movie.'”

She also admitted that Juno had a lot of questions since she hadn’t even seen it yet The Wizard of Oz still.

“I just love Evil “So much and it’s my favorite musical,” said the 38-year-old, explaining her decision to take her daughter with her. “I just love it.” I was excited. I felt like it. I wasn’t the only one with a 4½-year-old in it.”

For Jodie, who married this Dawson’s Creek Graduating as a graduate in 2019 before filing for divorce in 2023, motherhood was a gift in every facet of her life.

“Honestly, my favorite thing is that I’m this girl’s mother,” she continued Today with Hoda & Jenna in June. “I’m just so grateful that she chose me to be her mother, that I was able to have this gift in life. It’s my favorite activity. It’s an honor.”

“I feel like it was our birthright to be a mother – whether we bring our children or not, I think it’s a woman’s birthright,” she continued. “We hold space for the people around us. It changed everything about me. It just enriched me. It showed me, #1, how powerful I am. Like, whoa! Supreme Being!”

While Jodie and Joshua are no longer together, the To Yang The actress knows that a friendly co-parenting dynamic is crucial.

“It’s an adjustment period for everyone when they break up with someone because you’re used to being with your child all the time,” she said Shine last month. “But no one gives you a manual. Everyone is trying to figure it out. Every parent has a different life, and especially if the reason for the separation is because you have different lives, the way you live will only make it more complicated to co-parent.”

As for her thoughts on Joshua, who she previously dated Lupita Nyong’oleave their romance behind?

“He can do whatever he wants,” she noted. “Just be good to Juno and be good to Juno’s mother because I will be Juno’s mother forever. It’s really not my place to have an opinion on his journey.”
