Ben Affleck bonds with ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Thanksgiving while Jennifer Lopez goes through divorce: ‘He’s very happy’ “You could hear the bang, bang, bang,” witnesses recall of their experiences during the Park Plaza Mall shooting

Jessica Seinfeld and her family are celebrating Thanksgiving with an array of desserts this year, thanks to her husband Jerry Seinfeld, who helped her create her new cookbook as the “best taste tester.”

The author of “Not Too Sweet: 100 Dessert Recipes for Those Who Want More with a Little Less” revealed exclusively to Page Six that she plans to whip up several treats from the tome on Thursday.

“A crustless apple crumble pie, a sweet potato coconut rum pie, a carrot cake,” Jessica, 53, shared.

Jessica, who tied the knot with Jerry in 1999, told us her comedian husband was instrumental in helping the recipes take off.

“He’s the best taste tester. Nothing would be in the book if he didn’t love it because he’s such a complainer that I would have put it in my head,” explained Jessica, who has three children, Sascha (24), Julian (21) and Shepherd (19). Jerry.

“I wouldn’t trust if there was something in the book that he hated because it would constantly ring in my ears. So I’m trying to make him feel a little less bad.”

In her sixth cookbook, “only natural sugars such as coconut blossom sugar, date sugar, date syrup, honey, maple syrup and many fruit purees” are used.

As to why she was inspired to create the new recipe book, Jessica told Page Six: “I’m 53 and I’m really feeling the effects of sugar these days. It really feels like a hangover these days.”

“I’m not someone who wants to sacrifice life’s rewards like dessert,” she continued, “and I thought, ‘Why not write a book for people like me who want dessert but want to approach it a little more responsibly? ‘ ‘“

Although Jessica will be cooking for a crowd on Thanksgiving, she told us that nothing will go to waste since the Seinfeld family’s feast spans three days.

“We have a tradition where we celebrate Thanksgiving and then say thank you again the next day with our close family friends George Stephanopoulos and Ali Wentworth,” she revealed.

“We even do Saturdays, so ‘No thanks,’ with a few other friends.”

When Page Six noted that this sounded like a Seinfeld-inspired tradition, Jessica succinctly remarked, “Yeah, well, leave it to Jerry!”
