Inter Milan president rejects talks about squad rotation ahead of Champions League duel: “We have a strong squad”

Inter Milan president Beppe Marotta believes the Nerazzurri have a strong enough squad that rotation against RB Leipzig hardly matters.

Inter president Marotta noted: “The squad is 90% the same as last season and 60% the same as two seasons ago.”

“Inzaghi has players who have developed a lot,” the Inter president continued. “There are starters and then there are co-starters.”

Marotta noted that the Inter coach has “a very strong squad and a deep bench.”

“That’s how it has to be for top teams that compete across all competitions.”

“Inzaghi can choose his team from a squad of 24 players who are able to respond to our needs,” the Inter president added.
