The Golden State Warriors return home from their two-game road trip to host the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night. The game will be played in San Francisco at 7:00 p.m. PT and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.

Previously with the Warriors:

Golden State split its weekend into back-to-back games after losing 104-94 to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night. Although the Warriors had a lead of as many as 17 points in the third quarter, they were unable to prevent a late surge from the Spurs. After a hard-fought game against the New Orleans Pelicans the night before, Golden State looked tired as San Antonio outscored them 33-13 to end the fourth quarter. Andrew Wiggins led the Warriors with 20 points on the night, while the Spurs were led by starters Victor Wembanyama, Harrison Barnes and rookie Stephon Castle, who combined for 66 points.

What to watch out for tonight:

The Warriors (12-4) remain atop the Western Conference standings as they face the Brooklyn Nets (7-10) in a favorable matchup before a series of tougher games. The Nets are 20th in net rating and have struggled defensively. With a defensive rating of 117.0, they rank 25th in the league.

This could provide a much-needed comeback game for Stephen Curry, who had 14 points on 5 of 16 shooting, including 3 of 10 from long range, against San Antonio. With several of Brooklyn’s standout defensive players listed on the injury report and guard Dennis Schroder potentially absent (which is listed as questionable due to right ankle soreness), Curry should have plenty of opportunities to get into a rhythm early in the game.

If Curry and the Warriors can capitalize on this and effectively use their strength to close out the game, it could provide a much-needed confidence boost heading into the challenging Western Conference games ahead.

Have fun with the game Dub Nation. GO WARRIOR!!!
