Black Friday is a major event for retailers, opening its doors to shoppers looking for holiday bargains, but the day after Thanksgiving, it’s business as usual in much of the rest of the United States

Many large retailers close their doors on Thanksgiving, including Walmart, Costco, Kohls and Target.

But all of these chains will be open on Black Friday, although some may have longer hours to accommodate shoppers.
