As if the enthusiasm for Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu It doesn’t get any higher than that, a brand new poster today revealed that some lucky moviegoers will be able to see the vampire horror in glorious 35mm from the film’s theatrical release on December 25th.

The R-rated horror film from Focus stars Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Eggers’ version of the FW Murnau expression classic is about a young woman (Depp) who becomes the object of desire of the fearsome vampire Count Orlok (Skarsgård).

A second brand new poster (see both below) also confirms this Nosferatu will also be playing in the magnificent IMAX, so you can see Skarsgård’s “unrecognizable” transformation on some of the biggest screens in the country.

35mm screenings will take place in the following cinemas:

First reactions to Nosferatu have teased that this film is no joke when it comes to scares and sex appeal, with critics calling it everything from a “psychosexual nightmare” to a “horny fever dream.”
