Fans were shocked by Lizzo’s weight loss as the singer welcomed twins with her mother

Lizzo shocked fans with her dramatic weight loss during a night out with her lookalike Shari Johnson-Jefferson.

The “About Damn Time” singer shared photos and a video of herself in the backseat of an SUV on Instagram on Friday.

She wore a white off-the-shoulder crop top and denim shorts for the outing and styled her hair in “milkmaid braids.”

For her part, Johnson-Jefferson partnered her daughter and also sported two pigtails and stunned in a leopard-print jacket.

“My mom stole my hair and ate me 😫,” Lizzo, 36, captioned a clip of herself and her mom.

The “Truth Hurts” singer jokingly paired the clip with audio from “The Kardashians” in which Kim Kardashian accused Kourtney Kardashian of imitating her by getting married in Italy and having Andrea Bocelli perform at the ceremony.

Many fans reacted dramatically to the hitmaker’s noticeable weight loss in the comments.

“Yo Lizzie (sic) lost a ton of weight,” one person commented, chiming in: “Wait wait wait don’t get too skinny now!!!”

“The first thing to slim down is that face, hello haters!!! 😂😍,” a third added.

“I don’t care what she does or uses in lmao I want 😍,” a fourth quipped.

“What a beautiful soul, you have come so far!! And I appreciate you very much, you have also given me my trust! 😍🤩,” another gushed.

Others suspected that the “Good as Hell” singer had taken the celebrity-popular weight-loss drug Ozempic.

But her supporters rushed to her defense, writing: “No matter what she’s done, she looks good!”

Lizzo has been documenting her fitness journey on Instagram over the past few months.

In September, the Grammy winner shared a clip of herself in the gym with the caption: “I’m not skinny I’m fat (sic) 😤.”

The following month, the former vegan gave fans a glimpse into how she reintroduced animal protein into her diet, which she says helped her lose weight.

Despite the ongoing speculation, the singer has denied taking Ozempic and even made fun of the rumors by dressing up as a type 2 diabetes medication for Halloween.
