DWTS winner Joey Graziadei fainted when the result was announced

Dancing with the stars Season 33 winner Joey Graziadei said he “blacked out” when his name was called.

Joey, 29, and professional dance partner Jenna Johnson30, took home the Mirrorball Trophy at the finale on Tuesday, November 26, after scoring a perfect 30 points from the judges (Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba And Bruni Tonioli) for their cha-cha-cha routine Justin Timberlake“I can’t stop the feeling!” and a near-perfect 29 for her freestyle to the tune of District 78’s “Canned Heat” and Jake Simpson.

In conversation with Us weekly After the live broadcast on Tuesday, the former Bachelor expressed his shock at the results.

“I don’t even know how I felt. “I honestly passed out,” Joey said Us. “I just remember (Jenna) screaming really, really loudly. I remember hugging her.”

“I remember Val (Chmerkovskiy) “We’re coming in,” he added, referring to last season’s winning professional dancer – and Jenna’s husband – who presented them with the trophy. “I remember that (trophy) was heavier than I thought and that was about it. Here we are now. And now we are here.”

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson continue to find success on their Dancing With the Stars journey — but they’ve encountered occasional obstacles along the way. “It’s a process. “From the beginning, we were very comfortable with each other and there was this unspoken trust,” Joey, 29, told Us Weekly exclusively on Tuesday, November 12.

For her part, Jenna said it was a privilege to receive the Mirrorball Trophy from her husband, who won season 32 with the actress Xochitl Gomez.

“(I felt) just so much pure love and joy. “It was a really special moment that I think has never happened before,” Jenna said of Val, 38. “So many people have told me they have videos of him freaking out and I can’t wait.” see her. He was my biggest supporter. He is now mom and dad to us while I prepared for this finale. That’s why I’m just so grateful for him.”

Jenna said her trophy will “probably go right next to Val’s” trophy from last season, while Joey revealed that he and his fiancée Kelsey Andersonto whom he addressed the question Bachelor Season 28, recently moved to Los Angeles and plans to decorate her new apartment with his trophy.

“We just got a new apartment, so it’s our first little centerpiece that we’ve got, so it’s going to be somewhere,” he said.

Joey was the first Bachelor to win DWTS Tuesday night, but as he accepted the trophy he raved about his pro partner for helping him get to the final.

“I feel like Jenna totally deserves this and it’s everything for her,” he said during Tuesday’s show. “It means everything, this whole experience has been incredible.”

Earlier in the evening, judge Derek Hough praised Joey’s skills on the dance floor.
