Ben Affleck bonds with ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Thanksgiving while Jennifer Lopez goes through divorce: ‘He’s very happy’ “You could hear the bang, bang, bang,” witnesses recall of their experiences during the Park Plaza Mall shooting

In a bid to improve President Joe Biden’s poor economic record, his allies are claiming Thanksgiving 2024 will be the cheapest in years. But a closer look at the numbers shows why virtually no Americans are celebrating Thanksgiving this year.

Anti-Trump pollster Frank Luntz broke up .” The article cited the American Farm Bureau Federation’s national survey of food prices.

Luntz was immediately assigned. Users responded by mocking the idea that Thanksgiving in 2024 would cost $58.08 for a gathering of ten people. Others pointed out how much money they are spending this Thanksgiving.

Luntz wasn’t the only one spreading pro-Biden propaganda. Democratic strategist Matt McDermott claimed the media was not pro-democracy during the election.

He wrote: “With the election over, the major media has suddenly decided that the economy is doing well.”

He referenced a USA Today article that said, “Turkey Flation? Not this year.” Meanwhile, NBC News called prices for Thanksgiving 2024 “historically affordable.” But Thanksgiving prices don’t honestly reflect the claims of Democratic supporters.

Are Thanksgiving 2024 Prices Really Lower?

The Farm Bureau reports a 5% drop in prices this Thanksgiving. It sounds good on the surface, but the price decline is only 5% compared to last year and is only at “the lowest level since 2021”. And it comes only after a massive increase thanks to the Democrats’ inflation crisis and lower demand for turkey, the most expensive part of the meal.

The reality is that the cost of Thanksgiving 2024 is 19% higher than in 2019. As usual, costs vary depending on the region. In the West, the average cost of Thanksgiving is $67.05, well above the national average, according to the Farm Bureau.

Shoppers in the Seattle area are feeling the high prices, and one shopper told the Seattle Times, “Things are definitely more expensive.” The newspaper said a review of local prices shows that Thanksgiving dinner here is much more expensive than average on the West Coast.

Farm Bureau not as rosy as anti-Trump votes

While some items cost less, they include rolls, fresh cranberries and stuffing more expensive. And as the Farm Bureau noted, the 6% drop in turkey prices this year is “something of an anomaly” because demand is much lower this Thanksgiving.

Even the Farm Bureau noted that a “moderate decline does not erase the dramatic increase two years ago.”

“While consumers are getting much-needed relief after years of increased retail prices, these grocery bills also reflect some tough conversations around the dinner table for farm and ranch families,” the Farm Bureau noted in a decidedly less cheerful analysis than von Luntz and his anti-Trump like-minded people -Media allies.

Misleading Thanksgiving price analysis

Luntz and like-minded anti-Trump voices are using classic manipulation to prop up Biden’s dismal economic record.

Left-wing media and their Democratic allies desperately want you to believe that things are getting better. But when they pick numbers like these, they ignore the reality: Most Americans are still struggling to make ends meet. No one feels relief from a 5% drop in Turkey prices when every other aspect of their budget is still in Biden inflationary chaos. This is a big reason why Donald Trump is the president-elect.

Let’s call the analysis what it is: a disingenuous attempt to ensure victory for a government plagued by economic failures. Biden’s economy is not on track, and no amount of cheap stuff will make Americans feel otherwise.
