Ben Affleck bonds with ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Thanksgiving while Jennifer Lopez goes through divorce: ‘He’s very happy’ “You could hear the bang, bang, bang,” witnesses recall of their experiences during the Park Plaza Mall shooting

The Dallas Cowboys won last week against the Washington Commanders and wide receiver KaVontae Turpin was a big reason why.

With things still hanging in the balance late in the game, Turpin took matters into his own hands, returning a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown. There was still some chaos after that, which made things a little more hectic, but Turpin’s standout moment was the turning point of the contest.

Turpin was subsequently named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.

KaVontae Turpin has established himself as one of the better return players in the NFL for several years, but the play in question was actually the first kickoff he ever returned for a touchdown. Considering he had a punt return for a touchdown earlier in the season, it’s safe to say 2024 is going pretty well for him.

Zebra Sports stated that Turpin reached a top speed of 21.35 mph during the run in question and that it was the third-fastest performance the NFL overall had seen all year. Turpin is actually pretty fast.

Just six days before his moment of glory, Turpin ended the touchdown drought experienced by the Cowboys’ offense at their home facility, AT&T Stadium. In this particular game, Turpin once again showcased his speed as it was literally the fastest a player has traveled all year.

Kudos to KaVontae Turpin. Need I remind you that he will be a free agent in the spring?
