Ben Affleck bonds with ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Thanksgiving while Jennifer Lopez goes through divorce: ‘He’s very happy’ “You could hear the bang, bang, bang,” witnesses recall of their experiences during the Park Plaza Mall shooting

On Thanksgiving against the Detroit Lions, Caleb Williams threw his 12th touchdown pass, surpassing “Chuckin’ Charlie” O’Rourke Sr. in the Chicago Bears record books for most touchdown passes by a rookie. Caleb tied the record last week and is now the winningest rookie passer in team history with his 31-yard TD strike to Keenan Allen.

O’Rourke’s record has stood for 82 years, and whether the bar is low or not, it’s still a bar that Williams has had to cross as he ticks off milestones in his Bears career.

The pass attempt that led to the TD was Caleb’s 212th consecutive time without throwing an interception, breaking Kyler Murray’s record for most consecutive passes by a rookie without a pick.

Williams did it in his 12th professional game, so he still has some time to break into the top 10 all-time for touchdown passes in a rookie season.

Here is this list the players he is tracking.

31 TD passes – Justin Herbert (2020) Chargers

27 – Baker Mayfield (2018) Browns

26 – Russell Wilson (2012) Seahawks – Peyton Manning (1998) Colts

24- Daniel Jones (2019) Giants

23 – CJ Stroud (2023) Texans – Dak Prescott (2016) – Andrew Luck (2012) Colts

Five rookies tied for 22 TD passes

Do you think Caleb has a chance for 23 touchdown passes and a top ten finish this season?

Here is the record!
