Ben Affleck bonds with ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Thanksgiving while Jennifer Lopez goes through divorce: ‘He’s very happy’ “You could hear the bang, bang, bang,” witnesses recall of their experiences during the Park Plaza Mall shooting

Thanksgiving weekend isn’t over after Thursday. Just like the leftovers you’ll be eating today, the NFL is giving us another game to munch on after yesterday’s bountiful slate.

The Kansas City Chiefs will welcome the Las Vegas Raiders to town in an AFC West showdown. The Chiefs are 10-1 this season, but have not been particularly good at covering the spread, including failing to cover in five straight games. Can they cover the double-digit spread today? I’ll try to answer that question and give you two player props for thinking about today’s Black Friday matchup.

Chiefs -13 vs. Raiders

In this week’s Road to 272 Bets, I explained why I’m giving the Chiefs the points:

The Chiefs have done an excellent job of covering the spread this season, but now it seems like it’s time for them to do so. The Raiders’ offense was arguably the worst in the NFL in 2024, ranking last in EPA per game. Now I expect them to get even worse with O’Connell at quarterback. Gardner Minshew has his faults, but he can sometimes make something out of nothing, a trait O’Connell certainly doesn’t possess.

If there’s ever a team the Chiefs can put together a strong performance against, especially on defense, it’s this year’s version of the Raiders. I’ll give the points to the defending champion.

Travis Kelce UNDER 5.5 receptions (+114)

Travis Kelce, who is UNDER 5.5 in receptions, is my #10 player in Week 13:

After three games in the middle of the season in which Travis Kelce had great performances, teams have refocused on him and instead Patrick Mahomes has looked more at his backup tight end, Noah Gray.

Teams lost track of Kelce because they thought he was washed away, but when he proved he still had some fuel left in the tank, teams went back to taking him out of the game and forcing Kansas City to to win the game somewhere else. I think the Raiders will do the same and limit him to five or fewer receptions.

Brock Bowers Anytime TD (+250)

Brock Bowers, the Raiders’ right wing, is averaging 6.7 balls per game this season and has posted double-digit targets in two straight games. Bowers should be their main target throughout the game as he is the only dangerous weapon the Raiders have left on offense.

It’s worth noting that the Chiefs have struggled defending tight ends all season, which should help Bowers have another big performance. If he scores a touchdown, we get a nice draw with odds of +250.
