Auli’i Cravalho rocks a sky blue Oscar de la Renta dress with platform sandals at the UK premiere of Moana 2

Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson channeled the coastal energy of their Disney characters with complementary aquamarine hues at the UK premiere of “Moana 2” held in London on November 24th.

Cravalho wore an Oscar de la Renta gown with floral appliqués to celebrate the highly anticipated sequel to the 2016 animated blockbuster “Moana.” The light blue dress featured a fitted bodice and flowed into a flowing skirt, with layers of light fabric creating a semi-sheer look. There was a sheer top with a high neckline across the chest. From this part to the skirt, the dress was decorated with cascading green leafy tendrils, occasionally interrupted by gradient pink hibiscus flowers. The dress is currently on sale at Saks Fifth Avenue for $4,495 (was $8,990).

Meanwhile, Johnson wore a zip-up, collared jacket by Amiri that featured blue palm trees embroidered against a black background. He paired this garment with black straight-leg pants and black lace-up shoes. Johnson and his family previously attended the world premiere of “Moana 2” in Kapolei, Hawaii, where he wore Christian Louboutin loafers.

To match the bright color palette of her dress, Cravalho appeared to be wearing a pair of white Christian Louboutin Movida Jane platform sandals. The shoes feature one strap across the toes and two towards the back, one running across the top of the foot and the other around the back of the ankle. The sole and the inside of the curved block were colored red, bringing Louboutin’s signature feature to the look. They can be purchased at Net-a-Porter for $1,095.
