Ashlyn Harris and friend Sophia Bush take kids to Disneyland

Ashlyn Harris had a magical day at Disneyland with her two children and her friend Sophia Bush – and there are pictures to prove it.

The retired soccer star, 39, took her daughter Sloane, 3, and son Ocean, 2, to the Happiest Place on Earth on Monday, November 25, to check out the theme park decorated for Christmas. Harris had his girlfriend Bush, 42, with him to help with the little ones.

Harris posted a series of photos from the outing via her Instagram Story, including a group photo in front of a Christmas tree. In the picture, Harris is holding Ocean while Bush is carrying Sloane.

It’s the first picture Harris has posted of Bush with her children since they went public with their romance in April.

In the squad photo, Harris wore jeans, a black jacket with a brown collar, a black baseball cap, suede sneakers and sunglasses. Bush also opted for a casual look, wearing jeans, sneakers and a gray sweater.

The A tree hill alum completed her look with black sunglasses and sparkly Minnie Mouse ears. Both of Harris’ children also rocked festive Minnie ears and Disney shirts.

In another photo, Harris posed with her children in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle, which was already decorated for Christmas. In a third picture, Harris carried Ocean on her shoulders as they explored one of the countries.

Harris, who shares her children with her ex-wife Ali Warriorposted a video of the group standing on one of the children’s rides and in front of the Matterhorn. She also documented the first time Sloane saw Minnie in the wild.

Harris adopted Sloane in February 2021 along with Krieger, whom she married in 2019. The estranged couple expanded their family in August 2022 when they adopted Ocean.

A year later, Harris filed for divorce from Krieger, 40. Harris has since been open about the split, claiming on the Monday, November 25, episode of the Naked Sports With Cari Champion podcast that the couple had not been “intimate as a whole part” of their marriage. Harris claimed she even suggested an open marriage to save the relationship.

“I was so embarrassed and ashamed that I didn’t know how to tell people that my wife doesn’t want to touch me or don’t want to be intimate with me or doesn’t want that,” Harris confessed.

She explained: “I just felt like I wasn’t a priority. I didn’t feel that sense of connection, either emotionally or physically. It was about football, work, kids, and at some point I thought, ‘Okay, what about me?'”

Despite having a “difficult” time with Krieger toward the end, Harris has since moved on. After news of their split broke in September 2023, Harris and Bush sparked dating rumors.

A source exclusively tells Us weekly in October 2023 that Bush and Harris “felt connected over their separation and new beginnings.” (Us confirmed in August 2023 that Bush had filed for divorce from her husband Grant Hughes after 13 months of marriage.)

While Harris and Bush attended the annual Art Basel Festival in Miami together in December 2023, the actress only publicly came out as queer in April. In the same Shine In the cover story, Bush confirmed her relationship with Harris.

Harris and Bush made their red carpet debut as a couple at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April. The following month, Bush praised her friend on Mother’s Day, calling her “you absolutely magical mom” on her Instagram Story.

Last month, Bush once again praised her partner for his birthday. “You are the sun, in human form ☀️ You light up the world and warm every single person you touch,” she wrote via Instagram. “There is no one like you, and everyone who knows you knows it to be true.”

Bush added: “We are all so lucky. And I am absolutely lucky. First of all, out of many together (You better live forever, woman, we have adventures ahead of us!) Happy birthday, baby. I love you with all my soul.”

To celebrate her birthday, Harris shared photos with Bush during a trip to New Mexico, where they watched the hot air balloons.

Earlier this month, Harris posted more pictures from the getaway, along with a snap of her son spending time with Bush’s best friend. Hilarie Burton Morganand her husband, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. “💘💘💘💘💘,” Bush wrote in the comments section.
