Aaron Philo is out of the Georgia Tech-Georgia game

Reports have surfaced that Georgia Tech QB Aaron Philo could suit up against Georgia, so Georgia Tech could have Haynes King and Zach Pyron as QBs.

The Georgia Bulldogs host the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Sanford Stadium on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. on ABC. The Yellow Jackets enter the competition as clear underdogs with almost three touchdown points. However, the line could move beyond that after reports surfaced that Tech QB Aaron Philo could be out for the contest.

Georgia Tech has used two quarterbacks in recent weeks, with Haynes King and Aaron Philo handling most of this offense’s passing duties. Now, according to Kelly Quinlan of Jacketsonline.com, Philo will not be available for this competition. Philo has already played four games this season. If he wants to redshirt this season, he won’t be able to play another game. According to Quinlan’s report, this is expected to happen on Friday evening.
