The update comes just days after the two were spotted having dinner together. It seemed like they were on the upswing, but an insider just revealed the truth about their relationship.

Only friends of “crazy chemistry”

When Gleb and Brooks started dating, we all knew in our hearts that it was a show. When we found out Gleb dumped her over a text message, it told us everything we needed to know.

Despite their recent dinner date, a source told Us Weekly that the two have no plans to rekindle their romance. It doesn’t sound like that’s even on the table.

“They get along well and still have chemistry, but they’re definitely not getting back together,” the source confessed. “There is no rekindled romance.”

Previously, a source suggested that the two were faking their romance to gain attention and get DWTS season 33 going. The latest tea seems to confirm this idea. They said Brooks never took their relationship seriously.

“Their relationship was an abrupt breakup, but they cleared the air,” the insider explained. “Brooks is happily single at the moment and didn’t think they were serious from the start.”

Brooks seemed to be taking it seriously as she got a matching tattoo with Gleb. Now she is reportedly “in the process” of having it removed. In the meantime, Gleb said he’s keeping his.

The season 33 finale of “Dancing with the Stars” airs Tuesday, November 26th at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+.
