If you love Ulta, you need to hear this woman’s story about what she bought with her loyalty card.

Be warned, though – her story, while inspiring some, will definitely make more than a few people angry.

Elysa (@elysabee123) is a fan of fashion and makeup, but even she was surprised when she discovered she could rent a car with her Ulta loyalty card.

Elysa wrote: “I literally thought it was a joke that I could use it to rent a car until it broke down.”

She recorded the transaction on TikTok and was clearly pleased with herself, and how can you blame her?

Well, while some of Elysa’s followers praised her, others actually blamed her.

Apparently a lot of people knew you could use a store card with a credit card badge on it.

And the Ulta card has a Mastercard sign in the corner.

It appears that shoppers will be able to use their loyalty cards outside of the stores where they received them. However, only if the card has a Mastercard or other credit card symbol on it.

But while Ulta, for example, has a store card that’s backed by a credit card company, the store also has another that can literally only be used in-store.

So it’s a mystery to me how these keyboard warriors knew all the secrets!

But I agree with most people who say, “Yeah, girl, you discovered something really cool.”

Buy those cars and fashion items now, but be careful!
