Wednesday Addams will be in the Thanksgiving Day Parade

“Wednesday” superfans have something special to be thankful for this morning – even if Wednesday herself isn’t too pleased.

Netflix is ​​bringing Wednesday Addams (and Thing and Pugsly) to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which is actually broadcast live on Peacock and not Netflix. (NBC pays the retailer tens of millions of dollars annually for the rights to broadcast and broadcast the annual March on Herald Square – and ultimately at Christmas – as well as the Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks display.)

Wednesday, played by Jenna Ortega in the hit Netflix series, famously hates Thanksgiving – especially since she started working at the fictional tourist attraction Pilgrim World.

The 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade begins at 8:30 a.m. ET; Santa Claus comes to town just in time for lunch. It’s expected to literally rain on Wednesday as it rains on Macy’s parade festivities.

Of course, Korean-language series Squid Game remains Netflix’s biggest series of all time, with the first season racking up just over 265 million views.
