Update

Amazon’s tiny font almost got me. Almostbut not completely. I thought for a moment that it was the Logitech G Pro, but I can’t not do this if they lower the price further.

Unfortunately I missed the little sentence “Buy used”. Well, the best place to pick one up new Superlight is available at Best Buy for $95. It’s still a great buy at this price, but I noticed that the Superlight 2 is only $25 more on Amazon at $120. Hmmm.

For this price difference, I would be tempted to choose the latter, even though I love the original model so much. However, it is a difficult decision. The first Superlight is still a good choice for under $100. I’ve been using it for over two years and it still runs just as strong as when I first bought it.

I’ll keep an eye out as it’s hopefully back in stock at a cheaper price on Amazon and keep you posted.

Since when have decent controllers become so cheap?

At least that’s what I’ve thought since I held the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C in my hands. We’re talking just $30 at full price, currently only $25.49 on Amazon. By the way, this applies to the mint version I have, although the other versions were on sale just yesterday, so I’d keep checking back if you want a different color.

Anyway, the Ultimate 2C Wireless has everything you could want in terms of features: Hall effect sticks that prevent stick drift, 2.4G and Bluetooth connections with 1,000 Hz when polling on the former, USB -C charging and even additional buttons – although some may not like the placement near the R1/R2 buttons.

The fact that you can get all of this for under $30 these days is great, but the main thing that surprised me was the build quality and feel. To put it bluntly: for the price it is amazing.

I spent a lot of time switching between the Ultimate 2C and a standard Xbox controller (which is much more expensive), and yes, the Xbox One feels a bit more premium, but there really isn’t much in it. In fact, there are some things I prefer about the 2C, such as the tactile feel of the ABYX and L1 and R1 buttons.

And with its pastel-colored paintwork it also looks beautiful? Yes, color impressed me.

There have been great deals on the Lenovo Legion Go for some time now – even long before Black Friday. And the 512GB version is currently on sale for $500 on Amazon.

But wait, before you click the buy button, think about the double storage model.

Although I’m sure some will disagree, I’d say the 1TB version is what you really want, assuming it doesn’t cost too much more. And Lenovo has now been kind enough to drop the price of the 1TB model to $550 at Best Buy – that’s just $50 more for twice the storage.

Even if you’re handy with a screwdriver and would have no problem manually upgrading the storage on the 512GB version, it would still make more sense to just spend the extra $50 and go for the standard 1TB version decide. This is particularly true for the Legion Go, as it only houses SSDs with an unusual form factor.

And yes, handhelds generally require less storage than a gaming PC because the titles you play generally aren’t the latest and greatest AAA titles that require 150GB of storage. But double the storage for just $50 more? Count me in. We at PC Gamer always recommend 2TB of storage for a full-fledged gaming PC, so it’s a little difficult to justify just 500GB in a handheld when the 1TB version is so cheap.

You can find out why you should choose a Legion Go in my current article. All I can say is that I fell in love with it from the first moment.
