Ben Affleck bonds with ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Thanksgiving while Jennifer Lopez goes through divorce: ‘He’s very happy’ “You could hear the bang, bang, bang,” witnesses recall of their experiences during the Park Plaza Mall shooting

Will Jalen Williams be okay? That question may have been on the minds of those attending the Chase Center after the events of the first half. We have seen more injuries this season than ever before. The OKC Thunder found themselves in a worse situation than a team could possibly be, as not one, but SEVEN of their players were listed on the report for the most recent Warriors matchup. The last thing the team and its fans would have wanted was for another game to get out of hand. And lo and behold…

Jalen Williams suffered an eye injury in the 2nd quarter of the Warriors-OKC game. This came after Jonathan Kuminga attempted to go for a dunk and accidentally hit the OKC star in the face. JK’s face also came into contact with Williams’ hand, but the Bay Area player was unharmed. Meanwhile, the OKC star remained on the ground as medical staff gathered around him.

Within a few seconds, the hoopster stood up and went to the locker room. Since there is no official update, it is difficult to determine the severity of the injury. Still, NBA enthusiasts are wasting no time sharing their reactions. After all, injury after injury in games is something no sports fan wants.

Fans can’t believe their eyes after Jalen Williams’ sudden injury: “This is ridiculous”

One social media user emphasized that he wasn’t upset about Jalen Williams’ injury, but rather the league as a whole. This allegedly compelled him to write: “If Jalen Williams doesn’t come back, nothing will change my opinion that the NBA is rigged.” Yikes!

One only has to look at the NBA Injury Status section on ESPN to see the long, LONG list of players suffering from ailments. With that in mind, it wouldn’t be too crazy for fans to assume that something bad is afoot. However, there is no evidence to prove the authenticity of “manipulated” claims.

One fan complained about the apparent silence, stating: “Are we getting an update? This is ridiculous.”

The official X account of the underdog NBA confirmed that Jalen Williams will not return for the remaining minutes. According to reporters, he did not come out with the rest of the team during halftime. The team is working on the player and is not releasing any further details about the type of injury he suffered.

Another social media user used the update to point out that the Warriors have somehow proven to be a major bane for OKC. He did this through writing “Warriors defeated Chet and JDub in back-to-back games”accompanied by a melting face emoji.

It was only two to three weeks ago when the Warriors and OKC played their first regular season game of this edition. OKC also suffered a major blow in the first quarter of this game when Chet Holmgren left the game after taking a painful fall in the lane. Reports later suggested that he had suffered a fracture of the right wing of his pelvis. He has now been missing eight games in a row, making OKC’s already dire situation even worse.

One social media user revealed: “Oklahoma City has really struggled since Jalen Williams’ injury – on both ends.” OKC had trouble scoring after Williams’ early exit. The Thunder team had a 39-23 lead in the 1st quarter, but the Warriors caught up. Slow and steady. Even without Jalen Williams, OKC still had Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The talismanic point guard used his 39 minutes to record 35 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists.

SGA also received help from the Isaiahs (Isaiah Joe and Isaiah Hartenstein), who scored 17 and 14 points, respectively. Before his exit, Jalen Williams had made a memorable contribution of his own, dropping 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in 16 minutes.

All of this helped OKC secure the win! It was also a close result, as at the end of the game it was only 105-101.

One person took a shot at the Warriors by writing: “The dirtiest team in the NBA, 10 years in a row. The franchise should be banned from the league.”

There may have been some personal bias here, as seen among various NBA fans. However, there is no denying that physical incidents occur frequently on the Warriors team. Draymond Green has certainly made a name for himself with his trash-talking and physicality on the court. However, the injuries have not spared the Warriors themselves. We’ve seen the same thing now with the loss of De’Anthony Melton. Therefore, the call for a direct ban could be taken somewhat to the extreme.

Overall, the reaction showed hostility toward the Warriors, the league and even a little bit of OKC. The Thunder lived to fight another day. However, the longer Jalen Williams stays out, the lower their chances of success will remain.
