Tre Harris injury update: The latest on Ole Miss WR for Egg Bowl revealed in Wednesday’s injury report

No rivalry in the SEC could be more bitter than the Egg Bowl. Mississippi State And Ole Miss aren’t too big fans of each other and compete against each other in every regular season finale. This year’s game will be played on Black Friday after a Thanksgiving kickoff for several years.

There is a certain level of familiarity between the head coaches on the sidelines. Lane Kiffin will be against it Jeff Lebbyhis former offensive coordinator with the Rebels. Lebby is in his first season at Mississippi State and is now experiencing the Egg Bowl in maroon.

Unfortunately, both teams have to contend with a number of injuries before the duel. An injury report from Wednesday provided the latest information and shows us who is at risk of missing Saturday’s game.

As a reminder, at least two additional reports will be provided prior to kickoff at Vaught Hemingway Stadium, compared to the usual three reports. Lane Kiffin shares Egg Bowl’s sentiments

Before arriving in Oxford, Lane Kiffin had no idea how important the eggshell was. Kiffin had never worked for Ole Miss or Mississippi State. Although he has had multiple jobs in the SEC and played in many rivalry games, getting involved is the only way to fully understand it.

So heading into his fifth game against Mississippi State, Kiffin shared his feelings about the game. The learning process about the rivalry has certainly taken place over the years. And while four wins were great for Ole Miss, the one loss still sticks with him to this day.

“I think I just learned more about it,” Kiffin said. “…I’ve been on the winning side every year but one. Seeing the losing side and seeing what that felt like makes me want to do it even more.”
