A year later, Target CEO Brian Cornell announced that stores would continue the tradition for years to come, telling employees that they would no longer have to wonder “if this is the last Thanksgiving you have for.” “We’re going to spend a while with family and friends because Thanksgiving store hours are one thing we won’t be going back to.”

As has been the case for the past four years, a Target spokesperson confirms that Target will remain closed on Thanksgiving Day 2024.

However, shoppers still have the opportunity to find out about all holiday sales and offers online 24 hours a day.

While Target will be closed on Thanksgiving, stores will reopen at 6 a.m. Friday morning, November 29th
