Ben Affleck bonds with ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Thanksgiving while Jennifer Lopez goes through divorce: ‘He’s very happy’ “You could hear the bang, bang, bang,” witnesses recall of their experiences during the Park Plaza Mall shooting

Thanksgiving is for turkey and football. If you’re like me, you’ll find a nice spot on the couch to sit and watch football all day, only taking breaks to grab another plate of food.

Before the game between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions begins at 12:30 p.m. ET, be sure to place some bets on Thursday’s game. My best bet for each game can be found in this week’s edition of Road to 272 Bets, but in this article I’ll break down a combination that you can place a small bet on.

This game includes a bet on one side and a player support for all three games. Let’s dive in.

Parlay odds: +2143

Odds over FanDuel Sports Betting

Bears +10.5

Facing a division opponent on a short week is always going to be a tall order, even for the Detroit Lions, who seem invincible at this point in the season. Not only is this a big task, but the Bears have been heading in the right direction in recent weeks. Their secondary is one of the best in the NFL and their offense has looked much better since moving on from offensive coordinator Shane Waldron.

I’m selling high expectations for the Lions and taking the Bears’ 10.5 points for the first leg of the game.

Keenan Allen OVER 4.5 receptions

Keenan Allen has seen an increased workload since Thomas Brown took over as the Bears’ offensive coordinator. He has seen a total of 23 goals in the last two games and scored 13 of them. All we need is for him to record five receptions for the second leg of our game against the Lions on Thursday.

Giant +3.5

In a game between two terrible teams, I almost always lean towards the side that scores, especially if the margin is greater than a field goal. It’s worth noting that the Giants also have some matchup advantages in this game. Not only will they be able to pass the ball against the Cowboys, but given the struggling Dallas defense, New York’s pass rush will also have a field day in their backfield.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. OVER 63.5 rush yards

As I wrote above, the Giants should be able to run the ball successfully against the Cowboys. They rank last in the EPA opponent rushing rankings and 28th in opponent rushing success rate. New York would be wise to rely on running back Tyrone Tracy Jr., who is averaging an impressive 5.1 yards per carry this season.

Dolphins +3.5

The Dolphins have been one of the NFL’s best offensive teams since Tua Tagovailoa returned to the lineup, ranking fourth in EPA per game and second in winning percentage during that span. Scoring points against this offense is a bold move for any bettor.

I’m also not convinced by Jordan Love’s performance this season. People expected him to be an MVP candidate, but he now ranks 15th in combined EPA+CPOE and 10th in adjusted EPA per game. In comparison, Tagovailoa ranks third in both stats.

I’ll get the points with Miami in Green Bay.

Josh Jacobs Anytime touchdown

While I’m betting on the Dolphins to cover, I’m also betting on Packers running back Josh Jacobs to score a touchdown. He’s one of the few top running backs in the NFL, and with the forecast calling for cold weather, I expect them to lean on Jacobs early and often in this game. He’ll definitely be able to find the end zone at least once, making for the first final leg of this Turkey Day game.
