Mikel Arteta’s side felt the nerves immediately in the second half as Goncalo Inacio equalized for the hosts, but it didn’t take long for them to get back into the swing of things. A penalty from Bukayo Saka and a late shot on goal from Leandro Trossard marked a dominant victory.

Odegaard was always determined to win the ball back as he consistently led the press and made life difficult for the hosts’ defence. He was replaced by Ethan Nwaneri with just over ten minutes to play, capping an outstanding performance.
