In a clip shared to the daytime talk show’s Instagram account, fans could see the lights come on for Clarkson as her band began playing the opening notes of “Pink Pony Club.” Clarkson, dressed in a long-sleeved baby pink dress with large gold buttons, soulfully uttered the first lines of the song.

Clarkson blinked slowly as she looked directly into the camera during the first verse, but once she got to the chorus, the “Stronger” singer smiled mischievously and turned up the energy as the band sailed behind her.

Fans loved her performance, commenting: “Are you kidding me?!” 😭😍” and “The effortless way she sang that and hit those high notes! Kelly is truly everything 🙌👏.”

One fan chimed in and said: “I’ve been waiting for this one Kelly!!!” and another agreed, writing: “I learn when you cover Chappell!!” while a third said: “I love this one.” @chapellroan trending by Kellyoke 💯.”

Last month, Clarkson covered Roan’s “My Kink Is Karma” on the show, prompting fans to ask her to cover more of the Missouri-born singer’s discography.

In September, Clarkson covered Roan twice, once with a solo performance of “Coffee” and another time with another famous singer.

The “Behind These Hazel Eyes” singer teamed up with the country star Miranda Lambert to duet a slowed down version of Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” on her show.

“KILLED IT, INCREDIBLE 10/10 NO NOTES,” one fan said of the duet, while another demanded: “Kelly, go to the studio and record your version NOW.”
