Jodie Turner-Smith leaves Cavalli for amfAR Las Vegas

Jodie Turner-Smith accompanied Juno Temple at the amfAR event in Las Vegas on Friday night, held at the Wynn Las Vegas, and showed her undeniable presence in one Roberto Cavalli from Fausto Puglisi Design.

Her Fall 2024 purple marble print dress with an open back, sleeveless silhouette and a trumpet hem slip dress with black lace is an exquisite choice. The print alone is a real eye-catcher with its rich hues and flowing patterns and fits Jodie’s statuesque frame perfectly.

However, I couldn’t help but be slightly distracted by the makeup. Typically, Jodie’s beauty choices are an extension of her fashion statements, with bold eye makeup colors often reflecting her dress. Last week’s Burberry Blue moment, paired with matching blue eyeshadow, was a testament to her ability to seamlessly combine her beauty and fashion.

This time, she opted for an apricot hue that seemed muted in contrast to the vibrancy of her dress. The color is beautiful. Some may feel it lacks the punch we associate with Jodie’s beauty looks, or others, like me, appreciate the softer beauty look.

Black Christian Louboutin Pumps completed her look. Although classic, they felt more functional than fabulous on this dress. A strappy sandal or a metallic accent might have suited the sensual appeal of the dress better.
